Introduction:
level-ground.com has been around since 1998 providing resources and encouraging
Christians through articles, prayer support, event listings and more. Recently
we developed the online Christian Magazine “On The Level”. This unique publication
focuses locally and nationally, providing a national magazine and one for all
50 states. This magazine focuses on music, the arts and biblical encouragement.
Director Shawn Larson’s Credentials
· In the Christian Music Industry - Ministry since 1987 working with
various promoters, booking agents, artist agents, and local and national artists.
· In the late 80’s helped promote the shows locally for national
Christian artists Bloodgood, Holy Soldier and Messiah Prophet.
· In the 90’s was the booking agent / promoter or played an integral
part in booking and promoting shows for groups: Tourniquet, The Brave, Acoustic
Shack, JC Crew, Guardian and Exhumator (Now Five Iron Frenzy).
· Helped with Christian coffee house Upstage from 1994 to 1995 that
brought in local and national musicians.
· Developed and ran Christian coffee house Solid Rock Café from 1991
to 1994 bringing in local and national musicians.
· President of Midwest Metal Ministries from 1991 to 1992 publishing
the Christian Rock newsletter Battle Axxe,
· Work as a Web Designer / Information Architect for Trip.com
· Performed interviews with artists such as Burlap to Cashmere, Christafari,
Ken Tamplin, Angelica, Ransom, Tourniquet, Deliverance, Magdallan, Eternal Decision
and more.
