WHY ANOTHER ONLINECHRISTIAN MAGAZINE
I am hoping that On The Level will be a unique magazine dedicated
to encourage Christians to utilize the arts and entertainment as 
an affective vehicle for evangelism. I also hope to showcase those 
who are already actively giving their faith away, highlighting 
their personal sacrifice and commitment, in order to help motivate 
others to give share their faith in Christ. In addition, I would 
like to give tools and education to equip the saints for service. 

I also prayerfully hope this magazine will help to heal the Church’s 
fragmentation, by encouraging local and national Christian teamwork 
and networking.  To help this happen, each state will have their 
own online magazine reflective of their needs and culture. Each 
state will have their own local concert and event listings, as well 
as a page focused exclusively on cooperative outreach efforts.  In 
addition, there will be reviews and encouragement of local Christian 
events to give each state its own unique flavor.  

Nationally, we incorporate and highlight different articles and 
stories from the different states, focusing on what other states are 
doing, giving insight to what is happening all over the U.S., for the 
purpose of fun, ministry, and evangelism.  Every month we will have 
articles and interviews that will encourage, educate and challenge 
believers in the grace of Jesus Christ. 

FOCUS OF THIS MAGAZINE
On The Level is an Online Christian Magazine which contains useful 
articles and critical links. It provides a calendar of Christian 
entertainment, conferences, and events.  This online 'zine' seeks 
to equip, encourage and strengthen believers for evangelism. 


ON THE LEVEL'S PURPOSE 
Level-Ground’s On The Level heart/goal is to see people brought 
into a relationship with the Living God, and to encourage and 
strengthen those in Christ.  The purpose of On The Level is 
multifaceted:


1 Give people information, education, encouragement and resources 
to do what God is calling them to do.
	A. Equip and train believers for Christian work.
	- Articles on apologetics, and world religions for outreach
	- Information and insight into cultural world views.
	- Give practical strategy and ideas into sharing faith
	- Testimonies of ministries already reaching the lost.
	- Tips and insights from leaders in various aspects of 
	ministry.
	- Articles designed to train and equip for outreach and 
	Christian 
	service.
	- Focus on various methods of sharing our faith including 
	arts and entertainment.

	B. Provide vital links and resources 
	- Provide a link to Level-Links search and resource page.
	- Highlight and review resources Christians can find off 
	and on the net.

	C. Articles to Educate us on our Faith in Christ
	- Teaching on a variety of things from doctrine, history, 
	archeology, science as it pertains to our faith in Christ.

	D. Promote opportunities for people participate in the work 
	of the gospel.
	- Offer a bulletin board for those looking for ministry people 
	and ministers looking to participate full or part time ministry.
	- Offer ministries a bulletin board that they can place their 
	special events, conferences and cooperative outreach listings
	- Offer opportunities of professional and armature workers to 
	help with this work.

	E. Encourage those who are at work preaching the gospel 
	- Testimonials and stories of those who are reaching the lost.
	- Articles and stories of ministers.
	- Stories of Christians who have given their life for the 
	Gospel. 

2. Help to promote networking and give exposure and support to 
ministries and Christian workers.

	A. Corporate Prayer
	B. Focus on local networking through local Event calendars.
	C. Organize and support cooperative outreach efforts through:
	- Local Listings.
	- Help people become more aware of ministries in their
	community though articles and reviews.
	D. National networking through:
	- Level-Links search engine and link listings,
	- Various bulletin boards we have.
	- Future chat options with special forums
	- Future e-mail newsletter giving information, and promotion 
	of different web sites.
	E. Work together with existing online ministries by sharing 
	articles, interviews and artwork with permission of the 
	authors or artists.

3. Entertainment
	A. Satire section called Rock Bottom
	B. At the Café: People can play online games while listening 
	to music and read various articles from On The Level
	C. Entertainment section that will include music, and 
	entertainment reviews.

4. News and current events.
	A. A page that will update current events and news important 
	to Christians and a place for the reader to share their 
	thoughts on what they read.

5. Help facilitate sharing insight and vision.
	A. Bulletin board dedicated sharing ideas.
	B. Though interviews and articles with new ministries
	C. A place where people can share their insight and Thoughts 
	on what the read.
	
6. Teaching and encouragement for daily living.
	A. Articles focusing on devotional teaching and discipleship
	B. Educate people to conferences or seminars to attend.
	C. Inspirational stories and writing that promotes healthy 
	Christian living
	
7. Event Listings 
	A. Local listings
	B. National listings divided into categories of the event.
